Nintendo Switch Prime Day deals

There were some great Nintendo Switch Prime Day deals this year. In the UK, the best of the bunch was the Nintendo Switch Neon Red/Neon Blue bundle with Mario Kart 8 for £289. You could grab the same console with Ring Fit Adventure for £314.99

While these bundles are no longer available, you can currently grab a Switch Lite (Coral) with Pokemon Snap for £209.99

As far as games were concerned, Persona 5 Strikers was reduced to £26.99, The Witcher 3 Complete Edition was £37.40 and Just Dance 2021 spiraled down to £23.99.

SanDisk microSDXC cards were another highlight of this year’s Prime Day sale, with the 128GB available for £13.99 and the 200GB card for £21.99.

They’ve gone up a bit in price since then, but you can still grab them at discounted prices from the links below

The Prime Day Switch deals were arguably much better in the US as far as games were concerned, with Super Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 all getting deep discounts. Those prices are still available now, but be quick as these discounts won’t be around for much longer!

PS5 Prime Day deals

As expected, there weren’t many PS5 offers this year, though you can find a few games, accessories and SSD discounts. If you wanted a new DualSense controller, we hope you took advantage of the DualSense + game bundles. In the UK, you could grab a brand new PS5 DualSense controller with either Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Sackboy: A Big Adventure for £79.99.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake was discounted on the PS4 too, all the way down to £27.99, while Assassin’s Creed on the PS5 slid down to £29.49, but is now sold out, You can still pick up Immortals Fenyx Rising and Cyberpunk 2077 for cheap, though.

Over in the US, Returnal and Demon’s Souls were both discounted to $50 each. Returnal has gone back up in price, although you can still grab Demon’s Souls, Resident Evil Village and Immortals Fenyx Rising at their Prime Day sale prices from the links below. As you might imagine, the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales ($49.99) and the launch edition ($39.99) are no longer available.

Xbox Prime Day deals

It was a very quiet two days for Xbox-specific offers. A couple of Ubisoft titles popped up (Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for £29.49/$22.99, Watch Dogs Legion for £21.99/$16.99, Immortals Fenyx Rising for £20.49) and Marvel’s Avengers was cheap at £22.99/$24.99, but that was pretty much it.

The most exciting part of Prime Day for Xbox fans, at least in the UK, was the allocation of Series X stock that somehow managed to stay live on Amazon for a full 40 minutes. We hope you managed to grab one if you wanted one.

Prime Day SSD deals

Various SATA, NVMe and portable SSDs were discounted for Prime Day. Whether you were after a speedy storage boost for your PC or an external drive for more console game storage, there was plenty to choose from.

Highlights were definitely the Crucial drives in their various forms (1TB Crucial MX500 for £67.99/ 2TB for £139.99) and the WD Blue for £51. The Crucial P2s were mega cheap too: £67.99 for the 1TB or £126.99 for the 2TB. A more detailed overview of the best Prime Day SSD deals is right here.

Prime Day hard drive deals

Mechanical drives are slower than their SSD counterparts but are often considerably cheaper and give you a great deal more storage space for the price. That said, they’re always a hit when a sale comes round, and this year’s Prime Day sale included some deep discounts on the Western Digital 1TB HDD (£36.99) 2TB (£53.99) 4TB (£81.99), and 5TB (£89.99)

Prime Day gaming headset deals

The SteelSeries Arctis range is one of the better headset ranges that was featured in this year’s sale. The Arctis 3 is an excellent mid-range wired option with multi-platform support and was discounted to £51.99. The Arctis Pro, meanwhile, is a more high-end pick that comes with DTS Headphone: X v2.0 Surround sound when used on PC. Hopefully, you managed to grab a pair for £108.99

Prime Day TV deals

A few of Digital Foundry’s best TVs for gaming were discounted for Prime Day. It was a great time to snag a bargain on a brand new screen to support your new PS5 or Xbox Series X, including the LG NanoCell range. The 55″ was £559, the 65″ £679, and the 75″ £1299.

Over in the US, you can still grab the LG C1 OLED at its Prime day price of £1496 from the link below, while the Sony A8H is still relatively cheap at £1298: that’s £100 more than its Prime Day price. If you’re curious about comprising prices, you can get more info on the Prime Day TV deals highlights page.

Various cardboard boxes wrapped in Amazon Prime Day tape

Yes! If you haven’t been a member before then you can sign up for an Amazon Prime free trial. This will give you 30 days of access to all membership benefits, including free next-day delivery, video streaming through Amazon Prime Video, freebies through Prime Gaming and a host of other services.
